The Future Farm 2050 is a multidisciplinary project based on the 1600-hectare UWA Farm Ridgefield, near Pingelly, Western Australia. The aim is to develop a profitable mixed-enterprise operation at the cutting edge of practical technology for cropping, animal, environmental footprint and biodiversity management.
Visit the UWA Future farm at Pingelley, on 10 September 2020 to see a demonstration on how organic materials such as straw, compost and biochar can be used to restore soil function.
